Monday's Broadcast Ratings: Another Night, Another Olympic Games Victory for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/8/16):

NBC (28.760 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 8.6, #1) continued its win streak on Monday with its primetime coverage of the "Olympic Games Rio 2016" (28.760 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 8.6, #1).

ABC (3.709 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then was the distant silver with new episodes of "Bachelor in Paradise" (4.514 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) and "Mistresses" (2.099 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Next up was CBS (3.225 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with repeats of "Mom" (3.813 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), "2 Broke Girls" (3.074 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), another "Mom" (3.415 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3), "The Odd Couple" (3.021 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4) and "Scorpion" (3.013 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.302 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up a repeat "So You Think You Can Dance" (1.302 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #9).

And finally, second runs of "Supergirl" (1.075 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and another "Supergirl" (1.040 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) on The CW (1.058 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night.

NBC (6.002 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) held onto the top spot on Monday with originals from "American Ninja Warrior" (6.999 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) and "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (4.007 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3).

ABC (3.679 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then claimed the silver with its trio of "Bachelor in Paradise" (5.008 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2), "After Paradise" (3.336 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9) and "The Whispers" (2.694 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10).

Next up was CBS (5.319 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its repeat lineup of "2 Broke Girls" (4.965 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), "The Odd Couple" (4.239 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), "Scorpion" (5.213 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (6.141 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.426 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up a new "So You Think You Can Dance" (3.426 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4).

And finally, new episodes of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (2.348 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.801 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and "Significant Mother" (0.807 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (1.826 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.4, 0.5 and a 0.3 rating, respectively.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/1 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
