Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, Olympic Games Triumph Once Again

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/14/16):

NBC (26.500 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 7.8, #1) was still the network to beat on Sunday with its primetime portion of the "Olympic Games Rio 2016" (26.500 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 7.8, #1).

ABC (4.392 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was king of the leftover audience with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.021 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5), "Celebrity Family Feud" (5.483 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), "$100,000 Pyramid" (4.486 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) and "Match Game" (3.580 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5).

Next up was CBS (4.016 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and its lineup of "60 Minutes" (6.133 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #7), "Big Brother 18" (5.713 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2), "Madam Secretary" (2.390 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) and "BrainDead" (1.828 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14).

And finally, repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.092 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "Bob's Burgers" (1.107 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9), another "The Simpsons" (1.345 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.034 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "Family Guy" (1.304 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8) and "The Last Man on Earth" (1.031 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) on FOX (1.152 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) closed out the night.

ABC (4.027 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then claimed the silver with its trio of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.856 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Bachelor in Paradise" (3.964 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) and "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" (3.323 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

Next up was FOX (2.295 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and repeats of "Family Guy" (1.460 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12), a second "Family Guy" (1.888 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6) and its annual presentation of "Teen Choice 2015" (2.606 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6).
