Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Remains Top Draw in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/17/16):

NBC (9.417 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) remained in the top spot on Monday with new episodes from "The Voice" (11.099 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2) and "Timeless" (6.055 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T5).

The silver then went to CBS (7.896 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) and its mix of the Thursday-bound "The Big Bang Theory" (13.836 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1) followed by new episodes of "Kevin Can Wait" (8.665 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3), "2 Broke Girls" (5.869 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4), the return of "The Odd Couple" (4.706 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8) and "Scorpion" (7.150 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #7).

Next up was ABC (8.410 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (10.372 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T5) and "Conviction" (4.486 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.431 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Gotham" (3.204 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8) and "Lucifer" (3.659 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8).

And finally, week two of "Supergirl" (2.569 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11) and the return of "Jane the Virgin" (1.198 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13) closed out the night on The CW (1.883 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (10.040 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1) was still the demo champ on Monday with new episode of "The Voice" (11.147 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.0, #2) and "Blindspot" (7.826 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3).

CBS (9.857 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "The Big Bang Theory" (14.295 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.7, #1), "Life in Pieces" (8.691 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3), "Scorpion" (9.341 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #6) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.737 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T7).

Next up was ABC (10.490 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) and fresh installments of "Dancing with the Stars" (12.268 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #5) and "Castle" (6.935 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.003 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) offered up new episodes of "Gotham" (4.119 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T7) and "Minority Report" (1.888 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #10).

And finally, week two of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (1.150 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Jane the Virgin" (1.361 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #11) on The CW (1.255 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening.
