20/20 Surges by Double Digits to its 3rd Highest Numbers this Season
20/20 (10-11pm - 5.1 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49): Surging over its repeat Shark Tank lead-in on Friday at 10pm, ABC's 20/20 ranked #1 in the hour with Adults 18-49 (1.0/4-tie) and outdrew NBC's Dateline head to head in the slot with Total Viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.9 million). 20/20 jumped by double digits week to week in Total Viewers (+31% - 5.1 million vs. 3.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+25% - 1.0/4 vs. 0.8/3) and Adults 25-54 (+18% - 1.3/4 vs. 1.1/4). In fact the ABC newsmagazine delivered its 3rd highest numbers this season across all three Nielsen measures. 20/20 took a look at the unsolved JonBenet Ramsey case, as "Good Morning America" News Anchor Amy Robach sat down exclusively with a juror from the grand jury that voted to indict John and Patsy Ramsey, JonBenet's parents, of placing her in a situation that resulted in her death.
ABC's Last Man Standing and Dr. Ken Hit Season Highs on Friday
At 8pm on Friday, ABC's Last Man Standing grew week to week with Total Viewers (+3% - 6.8 million vs. 6.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (+9% - 1.2/5 vs. 1.1/5), drawing its most watched telecast this season and matching a season high with young adults. Last Man Standing won its half-hour and ranked as the #1 TV show of the night in Adults 18-49.
At 8:30pm, ABC's Dr. Ken was up over the prior week by 5% in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 4.4 million) and by 13% in Adults 18-49 (0.9/4 vs. 0.8/3), earning its 2nd largest audience this season and tying a season high in young adults.
