Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Bachelor" Keeps ABC in Front

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/16/17):

ABC (5.641 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) was the demo champ for the fourth week in a row behind "The Bachelor" (7.108 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) and week two of "Big Fan" (3.181 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #10) and another "Big Fan" (2.234 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12).

CBS (7.301 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then snagged the silver with originals from "Kevin Can Wait" (8.640 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2), "Man with a Plan" (7.673 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3), "2 Broke Girls" (6.461 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3), "The Odd Couple" (5.649 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8) and "Scorpion" (7.693 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5).

Next up was FOX (3.836 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) with the return of "Gotham" (3.685 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5) and "Lucifer" (3.987 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8).

Meanwhile, NBC (4.019 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) served up a new "The Celebrity Apprentice" (4.299 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5) and the return of "Timeless" (3.458 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11).

And finally, The CW (1.424 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night with its two-hour special "Howie Mandel All-Star Comedy Gala" (1.424 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (1/18/16):

CBS (10.233 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) topped the charts on Monday with originals from "Supergirl" (8.821 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3), "Scorpion" (11.418 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (10.461 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4).
