Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice" Continues NBC's Demo Win Streak

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/18/17):

NBC (7.018 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) kept its demo streak alive (16 weeks) with a special two-hour "The Voice" (8.710 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) followed by a new "Trial & Error" (4.103 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and the season finale of "Trial & Error" (3.167 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12).

CBS (11.126 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with originals from "NCIS" (13.070 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), "Bull" (10.269 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (10.039 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).

Next up was ABC (3.580 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with fresh installments of "The Middle" (5.243 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "American Housewife" (4.439 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.672 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7), "Imaginary Mary" (3.189 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.469 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.067 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) offered up a new "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.920 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12), a repeat "The Mick" (1.446 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #14) and an original "Prison Break" (2.451 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (0.941 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T15) plus a new "iZombie" (0.930 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T15) rounded out the night for The CW (0.935 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (8.655 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) led the demo race on Tuesday with its trio of "The Voice" (9.681 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T1), "Chicago Med" (8.120 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and "Chicago Fire" (8.164 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3).

Next up was The CW (2.376 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with a new "The Flash" (3.029 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6) and the launch of "Containment" (1.725 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14).
