VH1'S RATINGS SOAR WITH THE SERIES PREMIERE OF "LOVE & HIP HOP: MIAMI"
1.8 MILLION VIEWERS TUNED IN FOR THE DEBUT OF THE LATEST INSTALLMENT
OF CABLE'S #1 UNSCRIPTED FRANCHISE
(New York, New York) January 3, 2018 - VH1's unstoppable Monday night lineup delivered VH1 its best launch in almost a year with the series premiere of "Love & Hip Hop: Miami."
The latest iteration of cable's top unscripted franchise brought the Miami heat, earning a 1.46 P18-49 Live +SD rating and averaging 1.8 million total viewers. It was the network's best launch since "VH1 Hip Hop Squares" in March 2017 and was up +97% from the P4W time period average.
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" earned a 1.48 P18-49 Live+SD, up +8% from STD. The telecast averaged 1.8 million total viewers.
VH1 also had the top two most social cable programs of the day with "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" (#1) and "Love & Hip Hop: New York" (#2). Additionally, #LHHMIA and #LHHNY trended in the US and worldwide.
