Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "This Is Us," "Ellen's Game of Games" Top Charts for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/16/18):

NBC (8.802 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) continued its reign on Tuesday with new episodes from "Ellen's Game of Games" (8.757 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2), "This Is Us" (9.774 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) and "Chicago Med" (7.876 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3).

Second place then went to FOX (3.754 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) with originals from "Lethal Weapon" (4.973 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5), "LA to Vegas" (2.772 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) and "The Mick" (2.297 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11).

Next up was ABC (3.623 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its mix of "The Middle" (6.114 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4), "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.873 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6), "Black-ish" (3.758 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6), a repeat "Modern Family" (2.874 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11) and "Kevin (Probably) Saves the World" (2.560 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #16).

Meanwhile, CBS (8.073 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) served up repeats of "NCIS" (9.721 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6), "NCIS: New Orleans" (8.681 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) and "Bull" (5.817 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #15).

And finally, The CW (2.390 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) closed out the night with the return of "The Flash" (2.474 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11) plus the debut of "Black Lightning" (2.305 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.4/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/4 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (7.740 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was the demo king on Tuesday with its trio of "The Wall" (6.646 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T3), "This Is Us" (9.531 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.044 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5).

CBS (11.848 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then took home the silver with its dramas "NCIS" (15.421 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2), "Bull" (10.966 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T6) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.157 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8).
