Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NCAA Overrun Pushes CBS on Top

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/18/18):

CBS (9.010 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) was the top draw on Sunday thanks to a primetime "NCAA Overrun" (12.184 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) followed by "60 Minutes" (9.997 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3), the premiere of "Instinct" (8.789 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5) and new episodes from "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.976 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Madam Secretary" (6.371 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #17).

ABC (6.231 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) however shared in the demo honors with a new "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.295 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11) alongside week two of "American Idol" (7.739 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) and "Deception" (4.153 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

Next up was NBC (5.348 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with the return of "Little Big Shots" (5.973 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11), a second "Little Big Shots" (7.480 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4), the launch of "Genius Junior" (5.074 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5) and a new "Timeless" (2.866 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14).
