Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/8/18):

ABC (5.780 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) edged out the competition among adults 18-49 on Sunday with a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.045 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) followed by originals from "American Idol" (7.165 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) and "Deception" (3.743 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11).

CBS (8.334 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was a close second with its quartet of "60 Minutes" (10.830 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1), "Instinct" (8.198 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.062 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and "Madam Secretary" (6.247 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14).

Next up was NBC (4.464 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) and its lineup of "Dateline NBC" (4.267 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14), "Little Big Shots" (6.658 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3), "Genius Junior" (4.458 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11) and "Timeless" (2.476 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14).
