Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Continues Its Reign in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/16/18):

NBC (7.639 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was still the network to beat on Monday with originals from "The Voice" (9.232 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and "Good Girls" (4.453 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3).

The silver then went to ABC (5.957 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and new episodes from "American Idol" (6.851 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and "The Crossing" (4.171 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8).

Next up was FOX (3.733 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with the return of "Lucifer" (3.173 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8) and "The Resident" (4.293 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4).

Meanwhile, CBS (4.779 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) served up its mix of "Kevin Can Wait" (5.288 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), "Man with a Plan" (5.085 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Superior Donuts" (4.520 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Living Biblically" (3.540 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11) and the season finale of "Scorpion" (5.120 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8).

And finally, the spring premiere of "Supergirl" (1.900 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and a new "iZombie" (0.855 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) closed out the night on The CW (1.377 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (7.855 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) kept the demo crown on Monday thanks to new episodes of "The Voice" (9.449 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) and "Taken" (4.667 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #8).

ABC (8.362 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then was the silver draw with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (11.005 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) and "Quantico" (3.076 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10).

Next up was CBS (5.684 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its lineup of "Kevin Can Wait" (5.880 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "Man with a Plan" (5.419 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "Superior Donuts" (5.140 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), the season finale of "2 Broke Girls" (4.580 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and a new "Scorpion" (6.543 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.047 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up its conclusion to "24: Legacy" (3.330 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9) and the penultimate week of "APB" (2.763 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10).

And finally, repeats of "Supergirl" (0.946 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.831 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) once again rounded out the night The CW (0.888 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).
