Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Masked Singer" Goes Out on Top for FOX

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/27/19):

FOX (10.021 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1) eclipsed the competition on Wednesday with the penultimate "The Masked Singer" (8.596 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2) and the season finale of "The Masked Singer" (11.445 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.6, #1).

NBC (7.943 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with its trio of "Chicago Med" (8.448 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), "Chicago Fire" (8.249 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Chicago PD" (7.134 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6).

Next up was ABC (3.922 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with fresh installments of "The Goldbergs" (4.525 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6), "Schooled" (3.518 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #9), "Modern Family" (4.340 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6) and "Single Parents" (2.948 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) plus the formal premiere of "Whiskey Cavalier" (4.101 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

Meanwhile, CBS (4.145 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) offered up originals of "Survivor: Edge of Extinction" (7.061 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3), "The World's Best" (2.816 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and another "The World's Best" (2.558 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13).

And finally, The CW (0.747 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening with new episodes of "Riverdale" (0.878 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and "All American" (0.616 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15).

FOX (4.578 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with new episodes from "The X-Files" (3.239 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11) and "9-1-1" (5.918 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
