Primetime Preliminary Fast National Nielsen Data (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 am)
Here are the highlights of the nine ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/3/19):
NBC (2.413 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #1) was the top draw on another low key Saturday with "Bring the Funny" (1.401 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T4) and "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (2.919 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #1).
ABC (1.608 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #2) then took home the silver with its all repeat lineup of "Shark Tank" (1.948 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2), "Press Your Luck" (1.486 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2) and "Card Sharks" (1.390 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T4).
Next up was CBS (1.349 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T3) with a new "Million Dollar Mile" (1.197 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T4), the season finale of "Million Dollar Mile" (1.226 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T4) and a repeat "48 Hours" (1.623 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T4).
And finally, FOX (1.051 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T3) closed out the night with its coverage of "FOX PBC Fight Night" (1.051 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T4).
In late-night metered market ratings (via NBC's press release):
· An Aug. 3 encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Idris Elba and musical guest Khalid, has averaged a 2.2 rating, 7 share in "live plus same day" household results from the 56 local markets metered by Nielsen Media Research and a 0.5/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
· The 2.2 in metered-market households equals the show's highest overnight rating since June 29 (2.3 for an encore hosted by Don Cheadle with musical guest Gary Clark Jr.).
· "SNL" equaled the prior week's 2.2 household rating and has now matched or improved on its previous week's rating the last four weeks in a row.
· The Aug. 3 "Saturday Night Live" rebroadcast ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 in the local people meters, topping all primetime programs on those nets for the night.

NBC (2.264 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #1) edged out the competition on Saturday with an encore of "Making It" (1.570 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) and "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (2.611 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T1).
CBS (2.130 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2) then was a close second with a new "Pink Collar Crimes" (2.069 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) alongside a repeat "48 Hours" (2.044 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) and a second "48 Hours" (2.277 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T1).
Next up was ABC (2.112 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2) with a repeat "The Good Doctor" (2.117 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T7) and a special "20/20: In an Instant" (2.110 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3).
And finally, coverage of "Premier Boxing Champions" (2.112 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T7) rounded out the evening on FOX (0.933 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.2, #4).

· The Aug. 4 encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," hosted by Kumail Nanjiani and featuring musical guest P!nk, has averaged a 2.5 rating, 7 share in "live plus same day" household results from the 56 local markets metered by Nielsen Media Research and a 0.7/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
· Last night's "SNL" equaled the show's highest metered-market household rating since June 2 (2.8 with host Donald Glover and musical guest Glover as Childish Gambino) and matched the "SNL" high in 18-49 in the local people meters since June 23 (0.8 with host Jessica Chastain and musical guest Troye Sivan).
· Last night's "Saturday Night Live" is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in both metered-market households and in 18-49 in the local people meters, topping all primetime shows on those nets in both categories.
· The Aug. 4 telecast is matching "SNL's" August 2017 average in metered-market household ratings (2.5 vs. 2.5).
