Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/9/19):

NBC (2.787 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) and FOX (1.952 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) led the demo race on Friday with the latter offering up repeats of "BH90210" (1.997 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) and "MasterChef" (1.908 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1).
The Peacock then served up second runs of "American Ninja Warrior" (2.657 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) and "Dateline NBC" (3.047 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1).
Next up was CBS (3.673 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) and its all-repeat lineup of "Hawaii Five-0" (3.610 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7), "Magnum P.I." (3.476 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (3.932 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).
Meanwhile, ABC (2.335 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) offered up the special "WE Day" (1.705 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #10) alongside the return of "What Would You Do?" (2.570 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) and a repeat "20/20" (2.729 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1).

NBC (2.645 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1) was the network to beat on a low key Friday with an encore of "American Ninja Warrior" (2.615 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) and a new "Dateline NBC" (2.704 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T4).
CBS (3.281 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2) then was the most-watched broadcaster with new episodes from "TKO: Total Knock Out" (3.164 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) and "Whistleblower" (2.763 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) plus a repeat "Blue Bloods" (3.917 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/2 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.8/3 with an encore delayed by a PGA Golf report. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore delayed by a PGA Golf report.
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
