Hit Paramount Network Drama is #1 Cable Series of the Day with 5.3 Million Total Viewers
Yellowstone Season Two Continues Scorching Summer Run as Cable's Most-Watched Series
New York, NY, August 19, 2019 - Paramount Network's hit drama Yellowstone ranked as the #1 rated L+3 telecast across all of TV on August 14 among the key P18-49 (2.02 rating) and P25-54 (2.85 rating) demos. The episode averaged 5.3 million total viewers in L+3 viewing, making it the #1 cable telecast for the night and the #2 most-watched telecast in series history. Overall, Yellowstone season two continues to lead cable as the most-watched summer series.
Through eight episodes, Yellowstone continues to pace significantly ahead of season one to-date averages across key demos:
· P18-49: 1.87 average rating season to date, up +53% from season one to date
· M18-49: 1.92 average rating season to date, up +48% from season one to date
· W18-49: 1.82 average rating season to date, up +59% from season one to date
· P25-54: 2.67 average rating season to date, up +49% from season one to date
· M25-54: 2.75 average rating season to date, up +43% from season one to date
· W25-54: 2.58 average rating season to date, up +57% from season one to date
· Total Viewers: 5 million average total viewers season to date, up +13% from season one to date
Yellowstone comes to Paramount Network from Academy Award(R)-nominee Taylor Sheridan, writer of Hell or High Water and Sicario and writer/director of Wind River. New episodes of Yellowstone premiere Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Paramount Network recently ordered a 10-episode third season of Yellowstone. The series stars world-renowned actor and Oscar(R)-winner Kevin Costner as John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. Yellowstone is co-created by critically-acclaimed, Oscar(R)-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. The impressive cast list for Yellowstone also includes Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Danny Huston and Gil Birmingham. Neal McDonough joined the cast for season two.
