CRIKEY! IT'S THE IRWINS: BINDI'S WEDDING on Saturday, April 18 at 8PM ET/PT broke series records as the highest rated episode of the series ever among Women 18-34. It was also the second highest rated episode across the 25-54 demo and in Total Viewers, behind only the series premiere on Oct. 28, 2018. CRIKEY! IT'S THE IRWINS: BINDI'S WEDDING also pushed Animal Planet into the Top 10 on cable in its time period across key demos and ranked as cable's #1 most social telecast (excl. sports non-events).
CRIKEY! IT'S THE IRWINS: BINDI'S WEDDING delivered 1.13m Total Viewers P2+ on Saturday making it the second most watched episode of the series in 18 months, behind only the series debut. The episode, featuring conservationists Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell's recent wedding which had been moved up from a later date because of COVID-19, earned a .51 rating among Persons 25-54 and a .37 rating among Women 18-34, a record for the series.
Animal Planet ranked as the #5 ad supported cable network at 8PM among Women 18-34, while placing #8 among both Women 25-54 and Women 18-49, and #9 among Persons 25-54, Persons 18-49, Persons 18-34 and Total Viewers P2+.
CRIKEY! IT'S THE IRWINS: BINDI'S WEDDING was also cable's #1 most social telecast (excl. sports non-events) on Saturday and with 147k total mentions across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, it is Animal Planet's most social episode - excluding Puppy Bowl - since the series premiere.
