Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Continues Demo Reign with "The Masked Singer"

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/9/20):

FOX (4.035 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) remain on top in demos on Wednesday thanks to a new "The Masked Singer" (4.711 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) and the season finale of "I Can See Your Voice" (3.359 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2).

CBS (4.060 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) was the most-watched network with its trio of "The Amazing Race 32" (4.027 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3), "SEAL Team" (4.342 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and "S.W.A.T." (3.809 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #7).

Next up was ABC (3.297 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) with the return of "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (3.904 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) plus a new "For Life" (2.085 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #8).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.186 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up its "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical!" (2.496 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and a rebroadcast of "Nurses" (1.568 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #9).

And finally, a new "Devils" (0.434 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) and the special "Greatest Holiday Commercials Countdown" (0.518 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) rounded out the night on The CW (0.476 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5).

CBS (5.808 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) took home the silver then with its trio of "Survivor: Island of the Idols" (6.808 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2), "SEAL Team" (5.815 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #6) and "SWAT" (4.800 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

Next up was NBC (3.663 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) with night two of "Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways" (5.995 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3), the penultimate "Making It" (2.848 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and the season finale of "Making It" (2.144 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).
