HGTV DELIVERS STRONG PERFORMANCE FOR JANUARY 2021
New York [Feb 9, 2021] HGTV kicked off 2021 with an impressive overall performance in January. The net averaged a .45 rating among viewers P25-54 and a .58 rating among W25-54 - a respective uptick of 15 percent and 20 percent over the prior month. HGTV continued to attract upscale audiences in January, ranking as the #2 non-news or sports cable network among upscale P25-54 and upscale W25-54. The network ranked as the #7 net in prime among P25-54 - up 10 spots over the prior month. HGTV also delivered its best-ever average weekly viewing for January, averaging more than 101 minutes each week.
HGTV ratings drivers for January included Home Town, starring Ben and Erin Napier, who renovate homes in Laurel, Mississippi; Fixer to Fabulous with Bentonville-based renovators Dave and Jenny Marrs; and Rehab Addict Rescue, featuring home renovation star, Nicole Curtis, as she rescues homeowners who need help to renovate and restore their older homes.
