Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: Oscars Top Charts for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/25/21):

ABC (7.740 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the top draw on Sunday thanks to the primetime portions of "Oscars: Into the Spotlight" (5.866 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) and "The 93rd Annual Academy Awards" (8.365 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) - its smallest audience to date.

CBS (4.200 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2) took home the silver with its mix of "60 Minutes" (6.906 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #3), "The Equalizer" (3.729 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.250 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (2.913 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11).

Next up was NBC (1.461 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2) and its duo of "Ellen's Game of Games" (1.525 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) and the feature "The Fate of the Furious" (1.439 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (0.820 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T2) offered up repeats of "The Simpsons" (0.870 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11), "Bless the Harts" (0.697 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11), another "The Simpsons" (0.867 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4), "The Great North" (0.774 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4), "Bob's Burgers" (0.784 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) and "Family Guy" (0.926 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).

And finally, The CW (0.556 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with full hours of "World's Funniest Animals" (0.610 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T15) and "Masters of Illusion" (0.501 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T15).
