"60 MINUTES" WAS THE WEEK'S #1 NON-SPORTS PRIMETIME PROGRAM FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK
60 MINUTES took the top spot as the week's #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+ for the second week in a row, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Sept. 25. The CBS newsmagazine finished the week as the #6 primetime broadcast in both viewers (7.14m) and adults 18+ (7.04m).
60 MINUTES collected 272 million potential social impressions on Sunday and next day streaming on Paramount+ and CBS TVE (CBS.com / CBS app) was up +38% from the year ago episode.
Sunday's edition of 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley's meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken as the U.N. General Assembly came to a close; Bill Whitaker's interview with former Jan. 6 committee staffer Denver Riggleman about his work investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol; and Anderson Cooper's look at innovative ways marine biologists are trying to rebuild Florida's endangered reefs.
