"60 MINUTES" IS THE #1 NON-SPORTS PRIMETIME PROGRAM FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
The CBS Newsmagazine Is America's #1 News Program and Makes the Top Five
For the fourth straight week, 60 MINUTES was the week's #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers (7.62m) and adults 18+ (7.5m), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Oct. 9. The CBS newsmagazine additionally took the title of #1 news program, which the broadcast has earned every week this season. 60 MINUTES was the week's #5 primetime program in both viewers and adults 18+ and has made the top 10 for four consecutive weeks.
Sunday's edition of 60 MINUTES featured Lesley Stahl's look at Taiwan and how people on the ground are reacting and preparing for the possibility of a Chinese invasion; Bill Whitaker's report on the affected coastline of southwestern Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian; and Anderson Cooper's one-on-one with Southern Baptist Convention's newly elected president Bart Barber.
