"60 MINUTES" REIGNS AS TELEVISION'S #1 NON-SPORTS PRIMETIME PROGRAM FOR FIFTH WEEK IN A ROW
The CBS Newsmagazine Is America's Most-Watched News Program and Makes the Top Five
Since the launch of its 2022-23 season and for the fifth consecutive week, 60 MINUTES was the week's #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+. The broadcast delivered 10.72 million viewers, 10.4 million in adults 18+ and 2.5 million in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Oct. 16. As America's #1 news program for the fifth straight week, the CBS newsmagazine was additionally the week's #4 primetime broadcast in total viewers, adults 18+ and adults 25-54. 60 MINUTES has finished in the top 10 primetime broadcasts every week this season in viewers and adults 18+.
On Sunday, 60 MINUTES presented Scott Pelley's return to Bucha to meet with the families of victims lost in the Ukrainian city attacked by Russians; Sharyn Alfonsi's trip to Grimsby, England, to visit the world's largest offshore wind farm; and Jon Wertheim's interview with NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.
