ABC's 'Alaska Daily' Delivers Largest L+7 Increase for Any New Series Debut This Season in Total Viewers
New ABC Drama Debuts as Most-Watched Show in Thursday's 10 p.m. Hour
'Alaska Daily' Grows Its 7-Day Multiplatform Audience to 8.7 Million Viewers
"Alaska Daily" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 6.3 million Total Viewers and 0.5/4 in AD18-49):
The series debut of ABC's "Alaska Daily" ranked as the No. 1 show in the Thursday 10 p.m. hour in Total Viewers (6.3 million), topping CBS' "CSI: Vegas" by 13% (5.6 million) and NBC's "Law & Order: Organized Crime" by 29% (4.9 million).
Growing its initial Live+Same Day average by +2.7 million Total Viewers after just seven days of linear playback (3.6 million to 6.3 million), the debut of "Alaska Daily" delivered the largest increase for any new series premiere so far this season.
Jumping to 6.3 million Total Viewers after a week of delayed linear viewing, the series debut of "Alaska Daily" gained an additional +2.4 million viewers via streaming platforms to bring its seven-day multiplatform audience to 8.7 million Total Viewers. In addition, the new ABC drama skyrocketed more than 5 times (+428%) over its initial Live+Same Day rating among Adults 18-49 to hit a 1.69 rating after seven days of viewing across all platforms.
With seven days of multiplatform viewing, "Alaska Daily" marked ABC's strongest drama debut in two years in both Total Viewers (8.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.69 rating) - since "Big Sky" on 11/17/20.
