"60 MINUTES" Is America's Most-Watched News Program and Makes the Top Five
60 MINUTES marked its sixth consecutive week as the #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+. 60 MINUTES remained America's #1 news program for a sixth week. The broadcast delivered 7.966 million viewers, 7.869 million adults 18+ with 1.153 million adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Oct. 23. 60 MINUTES was the #5 ranked primetime program overall in viewers and adults 18+ and has finished in the top 10 every week this season. 60 MINUTES' potential social impressions (589m) were up +313% from the prior week.
Sunday's broadcast featured Anderson Cooper's interview with Dominion Voting Systems CEO John Poulos; Bill Whitaker's look at how one non-profit is trying to transform into the largest nature reserve in the lower 48 states; and Sharyn Alfonsi's discussion with bestselling cookbook author Ina Garten, best known as the "Barefoot Contessa."
