"60 Minutes" Is the #3 Primetime Broadcast in Viewers and Adults 18+ and Is #4 in Adults 25-54
60 MINUTES is the week's #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+, delivering 9.6 million total viewers, with 9.3 million in adults 18+ and 2.0 million in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Dec. 18. In the last 14 weeks (since the season premiere), 60 MINUTES has been the #1 non-sports primetime program 12 times.
60 MINUTES remains America's #1 news program in viewers, and has been a top 10 broadcast series for 14 consecutive weeks and a top five broadcast nine times in 14 weeks. 60 MINUTES was the week's #3 primetime broadcast in both total viewers and adults 18+, and #4 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same night last year, 60 MINUTES was up +55% in adults 25-54 and +20% in viewers.
Sunday's broadcast featured Scott Pelley's report from Ukraine on children battling cancer amid Russian attacks; Lesley Stahl's look at the growing industry of litigation funding; and Bill Whitaker's story from the Sanctuary of Lourdes, where medically unexplained cures are investigated.
