NBC and Peacock's 2024 holiday programming reached 88 million people from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. That was a 9% increase over 2023 (82 million).
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was the #1 show of the holiday season. It averaged 31.7 million total viewers across NBC and Peacock, +11% vs. 2023 and delivering its biggest audience on record.
The National Dog Show was the #3 program with 12.3 million viewers across NBC and Peacock, +5% vs. 2023.
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" returned to NBC for the first time in 50 years and drew 4.8 million viewers, 50% higher than its 2023 showing on CBS.
Airing on NBC for the first time, "Frosty the Snowman" drew 2.8 million viewers, which was up 51% from its 2023 showing on CBS.
"Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasonings" was the top new holiday special of the year with 3.8 million viewers.
Both the Thanksgiving and Christmas "Saturday Night Live" specials were up 9% and 26%, respectively, from the previous year.
