DESCRIPTION:
(from Orion TV's press release, January 2017) Orion Television, a subsidiary of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., will premiere Couples Court, a new syndicated, half-hour, year-round weekday strip from David Armour, the creator and executive producer of Orion's first syndicated daytime court show, Emmy-nominated Lauren Lake's Paternity Court. Legal experts and award-winning trial attorneys Dana and Keith Cutler will be the first-ever married couple to preside over the television courtroom in this fresh new court show where couples in crisis come to share their stories of cheating and get help from the ultimate authorities: a husband and wife team who, for nearly 30 years, have been married and practicing law together in the same thriving firm. Couples Court will debut in Fall, 2017 and has already been picked up in 18 of the top 20 markets, covering 73% of the U.S. including stations in the Tribune, CBS and Sinclair groups, as well as Weigel, Cox, Scripps and Titan stations. |
