DESCRIPTION:
(from OWN's web site, September 2023) Rebuilding Black Wall Street is a renovation docuseries chronicling the ongoing reconstruction of the Greenwood District of Tulsa, which was destroyed in the 1921 massacre. Over the course of six episodes, host Morris Chestnut and a design team will guide us through Tulsa's complicated history and the personal journeys of the cast, many of whom are the descendants of Black Wall Street residents. As their new businesses and projects progress, we will experience some of the physical and emotional challenges that come with large-scale construction and celebrate Greenwood's future |
