DESCRIPTION: (from BBC America's press release, July 2009) The BBC's hit revival of Robin Hood is back for a third series of high-action adventure and it's bigger and bolder than ever. A host of new faces, including Toby Stephens, David Harewood and Joanne Froggatt, join the regular cast of Jonas Armstrong, Richard Armitage and Keith Allen as Robin's quest continues for justice and freedom for all. Each episode sees Robin leading the battle for a free world, but it's tough going as corruption and evil continue to sweep the land. As the third and final season begins, the outlaws are in disarray - Marian is dead and Robin's split up the gang and launched a solo mission to avenge her death. Meanwhile, the Sheriff and Gisborne, under intense pressure from Prince John, are under orders to take down Robin Hood once and for all.
