DESCRIPTION:
(from Netflix's press release, February 2025) Weak Hero Class 2 tells the story of survival and growth of a student who transfers to a new school after standing up against school violence for a friend but failing to protect him, and faces even greater violence to never lose a friend again. Following in the footsteps of Weak Hero Class 1 , a collaborative effort between a rookie director and cast that received praise from critics and fans alike, Weak Hero Class 2 introduces new plot developments and fresh faces. Park Ji-hoon ( Weak Hero Class 1 , Love Song for Illusion ) reprises his role as Yeon Si-eun, who meets new friends at Eunjang High School: Ryeo-un ( Twinkling Watermelon ) as Park Hu-min, Choi Min-yeong ( XO, Kitty ) as Seo Jun-tae, and Lee Min-jae ( Uprising ) as Go Hyun-tak. Yu Su-bin ( D.P. ) comes back as Choi Hyo-man, who ended Weak Hero Class 1 with a cliffhanger confrontation with Yeon Si-eun. Bae Na-ra ( D.P. Season 2) as Na Baek-jin and Lee Jun-young ( Badland Hunters ) are members of the Union, a representation of the greater violence that Yeon Si-eun is up against. |
