The landmark 100th episode of the stylish, trend-setting drama series airs Monday, January 30, at 8/7c on The CW, and to celebrate reaching this milestone in a series shot in New York, the cast and producers appear in a "Made in NY" video currently running in taxicabs throughout the Big Apple.
Today, Gossip Girl welcomed New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Media & Entertainment Commissioner Katherine Oliver to the show's New York set, to issue a proclamation and commemorate the impact the production has had on the local New York economy.
Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Kaylee DeFer with Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle. Based upon the book series written by Cecily von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl was developed for television by Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage, who serve as executive producers of the series along with Leslie Morgenstein, Bob Levy and Joshua Safran.
