(from Amazon's press release, April 2024) Prime Video today revealed the cast that will join the protagonist Jesse Williams (Your Place Or Mine, Only Murders In The Building, Broadway's Take Me Out) in the new Italian Original series Costiera. The rich cast features Italian and international faces, such as Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva and Jean-Hugues Anglade. Costiera is an international light action drama series shot in English and directed by Emmy winner Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli, from an idea by Luca Bernabei, written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill and Francesco Arlanch and co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle group company. Costiera - whose production is currently underway - is the latest innovation for Amazon Prime customers, who in Italy benefit from fast shipping, exclusive offers and entertainment, including Prime Video, with a single subscription costing €49.90/ year or €4.99/month. Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams) is a former marine of Italian origins who returns to the town of his childhood to work as a problem solver in one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, on the spectacular coast of Positano. In addition to solving the problems of the hotel's wealthy guests, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner's daughters, who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be a challenge greater than any problem Daniel has ever faced. |
